“The two 4th graders in the picture are both what I’d call “rock star” readers. As a resource teacher, I’ve had the privilege of teaching reading to them both for about a year and a half. My job would not be as effective without the training provided by Slant System. From day one, Slant has put me in a better position to help these and other students read more accurately and fluently.  Slant is my best resource in helping readers understand the gaps in their skill profile and mastering the phonemes and syllable patterns that serve as a bridge to greater literacy. Both students have favorite books and authors they can readily talk about.
