Return of Physical Products
Returns will be accepted WITHIN 30 days from the time of purchase. For a full refund, items must be returned in the same condition they were received. Contact orders@slantsystem.com if you have items to return. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
Classmates Educational Group, Inc. (CEG) owns the copyright to all materials in print and digital form. Distribution or sharing of materials in any form or means including, but not limited to electronic, photocopy, or information storage is prohibited without the express written permission of CEG.
Once CEG receives and inspects the returned item/s, we will send you an email to confirm receipt. This email will also inform you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a 7-10 business days.
Professional Development Policies
Cancellation
If cancellation of the professional development is necessary, to be eligible for a refund, notice of cancellation must be given by emailing orders@slantsystem.com. If notice is given 15 days prior to the start of the course a full refund, less $75 for processing fees, will be deducted. If cancellation occurs within 14 days or less of the training, a refund will be given minus $150 of the total amount of the course. All materials must be returned within 30 days of the cancellation date. Any materials not returned will be deducted from the refund based on the price listed on the Slant System™ website. The appropriate refund will not be issued until all materials have been returned. Once a course has started, participants wishing to withdraw from the course will not be eligible for a refund.
CEG reserves the right to cancel or change any classes or course dates due to low enrollment or any other reason. In the event of cancellation of a course, a full refund will be given. CEG will notify participants as soon as possible if a cancellation or date change occurs. CEG is not responsible for any additional incurred expenses.
No Show
If the participant is a no-show for a course, no refund will be given.
Attendance
Attendance is required at all courses. If a make up class is required, a fee of $100 will be issued to the participant/payee. No certifications will be issued if the coursework is not completed in full.
Course Transfer
Participants are allowed to transfer courses if necessary. Please send an email to orders@slantsystem.com to initiate this transfer.
Peer Training Stipulations
Upon completion of professional development by CEG, participants/graduates of the training are not qualified to train or coach others. Training and coaching may only be conducted by CEG employees or designated representatives.
School Districts and/or Group Trainings
The same cancellation policies apply to school districts/group training as mentioned above. All materials must be returned within 30 days of the cancellation date. Any materials not returned will be deducted from the refund based on the price listed on the Slant System™ website. The appropriate refund will not be issued until all materials have been returned.
If customized dates are required, new dates will be chosen together with the Classmates Educational Group, Inc. team at mutually agreed upon dates. Materials can be transferred to another participant if necessary.
Online Learning Expectations
It is important that each participant has their OWN device. A laptop or desktop computer is highly recommended. No participants should participate in a moving vehicle. Cameras should be on as much as possible.
